As we are going to do Pam Buda Block of the month Pieceful Pines, she brought us her own quilt!
We will have it on display until the end of the month, so come to see it, it is gorgeous!
Then we got more snow...
I tried the curvy Log Cabin ruler, we are going to have a class, I loved it!

We had our Timeworn Treasures meeting, so here is our show and tell! Beautiful quilts!
Then we had a very special guest speaker: Peggy and her family quilts!
This applique one, the stitching is amazing!
This one, the fabric has been sun on the family farm, it's wool with wool batting.
And that one is candlewicking
All dating from early 1800!!
And here are some pictures of her family and a little bit of her story!
We were very lucky to see these in person!

I went with some friends downtown to the Art Institute as they are having a quilt exhibition. So here are some pictures. A little snow in the morning but then it stopped in the afternoon and the roads were not too bad so off we went!
There was also a Rodin exhibit...
And some impressionists like... Monet, Renoir...
Sorry I think some pictures got mixed up... but...
I hope you still enjoyed them...
After we went to have a late lunch at The Gage, delicious!!
