This week end went so fast! I went to a leture with Cheryl Barnes from goldenthreads.com which was really interesting! She had great ideas and a lot of tips! I bought that Dot stamper, you put a dot on a paper pattern, plastic stencil or even your ruler to hold them in position exactly where you want them and it does not stick to the fabric!
I also put the binding on 2 soldier's quilts, that was all I had to do on those... and I put the binding on 2 baby quilts to be donated, those I quilted...
Been busy is a wonderful thing!

Tonight, I am really excited! I just found out ( Thanks to Docia and Beth from The Quilt Merchant!) that I am going to get to see one more time Jo Morton before my big move! I love her! And she is coming to a quilting guild 2 hours away! Yeah!

This morning, I gave a demo on making French bread, that was fun! Then I went to my little Civil War club where I had great time! We exchanged our small 4-patches, they are really cute! I think I will start to put them together... I can't wait to see the progress of that quilt, it will mean a lot to me, an exchange with some really good friends!

This week end was a Shop Hop week end! I had to do it as it will be my last one for a while... so I went with my BBF! It was fun! I bought that little wallhanging kit and made it Sunday! I love it and it was really easy!
I also finished some stars for a swap, a bit late but they are now in the mail! And I made a bunch of 4-patches for another swap! They finish 2", very cute!
I am making some French bread as tomorrow, I am going to do a demo for some friends... So I have a baguette dough and a brioche dough in the rising process...

Sad news

Today we received the confirmation that we will have to move back to France at the end of March. I am really sad as I was so happy here in the States with a lot of good friends... The economy is tough right now, I know and at least my husband will still have a job...but still I am so sad... The only good thing is that at least my daughter will be able to finish her basketball season at her school...

This week end, I put the binding on a wounded soldier quilt and I finished knitting the back of a new sweater...
