Today, I went to WHSmith, the English bookstore in Paris and I found The Scarecrow from Mickael Connelly!!!Yeah, I am going to go to bed early this evening! Then I went to the Eiffel Tower and on my way I thought of my online friend Julie as I walked by The Australian Embassy!

Last Thursday I went with a friend to a little local quilt show which was very friendly. A lot of Japenese inspired quilts and bags... Not exactly what I prefer but the work was well done. After that, we went to visit an old button factory, very interesting! I saw buttons very very small, the right size for Hitty clothes! They were made by the kids... They were made from mother-of- pearl so you had leftover shell everywhere in the village... They stopped producing buttons there in 1970 as they are now mostly made from plastic. The secret of dying was very protected and they never found any writting about it so even today they have no clue of how it was done...They just know that it was with chemicals...

No picture today, internet is way too slow... sorry...

Friends are so important!
Now I feel like I can do a lot today!

Hi, it has been a long time since my last post but I still do not have internet so it is not easy...
We received our container last Wednesday, a lot of boxes! The kitchen is now done, the rest is slowly getting organized...

I went to Brussels on Friday to spend the day with my very good fried Caroline, what a treat! And we had sun! She brought me some very nice surprises from my US friends as she went to Shipshewana and Paducah!

On Saturday, I went to Paris, in Notre Dame area to buy some school books, I have been surprised how easy and fast it has been to go there! In 40 min we were arrived!

Have a great week!
