What a wonderful week end! I basted that DJ quilt for hand quilting. Then Friday, I went to meet Randy for dinner, we had very good pasta followed by a salad and then a delicious tarte tatin.
Then Saturday, I went to a flea market outside in the country where I found that very pretty pillowcase embroidered. The letters go for Lisabeau Desforges, never heard of that pretty first name. She was the seller's grandmother. And I also found that book. It has patterns and templates inside! Since I went to the V&A quilt exhibit, there was one quilt I wanted to make and the templates are in that book! How lucky! And at a farm on the way, we bought some apples and honey! Very relaxing trip!
