This week went so fast! Bonnie Hunter came to visit Paris with her friend Randy, who knows Paris very well, I joined them for a few visits, we had great time! Caroline from Belgium has been able to join us on Thursday and I finally met Will with them on Friday! So nice to share friendship! Here are some pictures:
I did manage to finish 2 blocks for swaps before the dead lines!

What a week end! The Halloween party went very well, I survived!
On Saturday, I went to Normandy to spend time with some quilting friends! They were having a quilting retreat so I joined them for the day. Not lucky with the weather while driving, rain and rain and rain... But when I arrived there, it stopped raining for a while so we went on the beach... It was very nice. Kids are home for a 10 days vacation.

Hi, it was a wonderful day yesterday in Paris, sunny and warm enough to stay outside at lunch time with some friends! Randy from CA and Sandrine from Paris...
Today , I am busy preparing everything for tonight. My daughter is having a Halloween party as holidays starts tomorrow... So 35 teenagers will be coming, that's a bit scary for me! Better get busy baking cookies and muffins!

Yesterday I spent the afternoon wandering around the Marche St Pierre, I found some nice toile fabrics!
Today I took pictures of a friend's quilt I finished the other day... It was a mystery quilt from France Patchwork in 2008. I did not like it as a top but with the quilting, I think I love it! I hope it's owner will too!

You know how much I love history and antique quilts, today I am happy I found these, beautiful! I am always impressed by the quality of those antique quilts, the time involved to make them and the wonderful hand quilting! Very inspiring!

Here is a small table runner I did as a gift from the book "Let's do lunch". I used French fabrics, maybe I should have done some cross hatching to avoid the wrinkles but...I love my quilted pineapples... I added a picture of my little helper, I don't if it is because the weather is getting colder but he loves to stay very very close to me those last days...

Hi from wet Paris! It is raining today...
Here is a picture of Chantal's quilt I just finished:
I also quilted a Dear Jane signature quilt from the 2006 swap, I am going to bind it and will take a picture!
