Today has been a hot day here in Paris! But with a nice breeze. So I took a hand sewing project and spent the afternoon outside in the shadow of a nice weeping willow. Here is the result: I put it in the frame it will go to see how it will look like, but I have to hand quilt it first... I just love it! I bought 2 frames like that, they are made with old barn wood, just wonderful!

A very nice block indeed! And sitting under a willow tree sounds wonderful. I used to play under two willow trees when I was a child. One was a huge tree and so thick with willows. We played house underneath.
