Getting ready to leave for Nantes for Quiltmania's show next week, I try to do as much as I can. I also need to do my siggie blocks for the DJ swap... Happy Easter to everyone!

I just love the weather we are having here, the sun is out, the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing... Lilacs are wonderful and smell so good!
I love that signature quilt, unfortunately it is not mine but I participated in that swap so one of my blocks is in it! Only Jo Morton fabrics, wonderful, even the backing! I should put mine together!
I hope you had a great week end! It was fun here, a Japanese restaurant and some shopping on Saturday and a choucroute on Sunday, and always in good company! Quilting friends are the best! I have read the the Shipshewana retreat was fun, I am so sorry I missed it... Next time maybe...

Spring is coming here for sure! Saturday was gorgeous but Sunday rainy...
I want to share with you what I received a few days ago from my wonderfully kind secret sister. A big heavy box full of goodies! 3 books, 2 mags, 2 patterns, 3 scrap bags, a layer cake, 4 5" square packs, herbal tea bags. She made my day! I am very grateful to have her as secret sister!

And here are some pictures of what I quilted lately. On the Japanese quilt, I thought I would do some Mctavishing but the quilt called for baptist fans instead to keep in with the Japanese spirit...

This was done for one of our friends, she now received it so I can post the picture. I was very late quilting it but she now has it and more importantly, she loves it and knows exactly where she is going to hang it so all is good! Hug quilts are always wonderful!

It has been a long time since I posted but life got in the way...

Here are some pictures, my son's birthday cake his sisters made him, he turned 18!!! Some swap blocks which are on their way or to be send out, a mug rug and the goodies I received from a swap and a gorgeous quilt I just finished quilting.

I had a fun Friday, but no picture yet... With my friend Sandrine we met an online friend Denise from Sidney, Australia! We took her a little quilt show just outside of Paris, we had delicious cakes at another friend's place. Then back to Paris we went to the Dior exhibition at the Bon Marche, nice dresses we then looked at all the food market! Amazing things! Back home, we had a very friendly dinner! I love spending time with friends and making new ones is even better! I will post pictures later... Today I set up a new printer onto my new computer, it was supposed to be easy, well it took me the whole morning to figure out the wifi connection and everything but now they are well connected! I am happy!
