Time flies! Yesterday Caroline from Belgium was there! A friend, Annie from my quilting group in Belgium had to have a surgery so Caroline decided to make her a hug quilt and involved all of us! As Annie loves baskets, we used basket blocks. I quilted it today and Caroline went back this evening and will hand sew the binding tomorrow morning and will deliver it to her in the afternoon. We called the quilt "Baskets of Friendship". It has been a pleasure for me to do this for Annie, I can't wait to hear back from her!

I also finished "Carolina Christmas"(The pattern is from Bonnie Hunter), I love the backing she did for it! And I quilted a baby quilt...

Have a great week end!

I hope you had a great Sunday!
Using the same pattern, I did this one just for me! It is the house of my dreams, a log cabin! I used Mary Lovals' Farm Tree II fabric line. I really love it but now it will have to wait to be quilted...
And yesterday I received those cute 9 patches from a swap during an online retreat! I have to hurry and put them in a doll quilt!
Until next time, Val

Forgot the picture of the stars quilt, sorry!

I went to a show this week, a lot of people were there too! Nothing really new but I loved Mary Koval's booth, liked that stars quilt from ladies from Spain. There was an exhibit of costumes from the Opera, very nice work!
I have been good, I just bought 2 spools of Aurifil lana thread to try...
Have a great Sunday!

Dear Bluebird-Lyn, has come up with a lovely idea to show our support for another blogger friend who is going through a tough time right now.
Lyn is co-ordinating the making of a quilt using 9 patch blocks for her. If you would like to participate, by making a block or even just blogging about it, please click on the link to Lyn or on the sewing machine on my sidebar...♥

Well, I hope you had a great week end! I spent time sewing those little guys, aren't they cute? I had a wonderful time cyber retreating!

And what a great day I had today. A friend, coming back from a vacation in Thailand came here for lunch. And after that I went to my friend, she just cam back from spending 10 days in Japan. Here is what she brought back for me! She really spoiled me! And I love what the plastic bag they were in says! Thank you my friends, you made my day!
