The other day Renee brought one of her antique quilts for show and tell, isn't it gorgeous?

That's Anita the other day when she came to pick up her prize! She won a basket full of FQs from the Spring Shop Hop! She was so happy!

Today is a special day for me: my daughter who is in France turned 18! Hard to be so far away from here on this special day. But glad she was able to celebrate with my dad, Monique and my son Nick! And Monique made her her favorite cake, a Pavlova!!! We will celebrate again here when she comes in the summer!

Sad news to share

Just got that very sad message, I thought I would share with you:

 

Our lives are like quilts - bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love. 

Today is a day of sorrow.  Brenda Papadakis's husband Pete passed away last night.

Please join me in lifting her up with your thoughts and prayers as she goes through this difficult time facing the days ahead without the love of her life.

What a great day we had with Bonnie today at the store!
She shared her wonderful quilts with us, gave us a little lecture, great lesson on how to look at a fabric! And so much more!
