This week end I worked in the garden, I love flowers! I don't know how this one arrived in my garden but it is gorgeous!

I added the borders on my Hummingbird center I had sewn in Shipshewana and did some quilting... Have a great week!

Today I received a great surprise in the mail: Julie's block for an Applique swap I was in! I love it, thank you so much Julie!

We have a new addition to our family! A new kitty! She is very cute! Each of my kids had a name for her but they finally ended up agreeing on Phoebe... again... I told them they have a few days to think about it and then will have to decide before we take her to the vet...

I also finished quilting this one, I am quite happy with it! It is a gorgeous day here today, it is so nice to see the sun finally!

I hope you had a great mothers day! I finished reading The Aloha Quilt from Jennifer Chiaverini, it was very good as usual, but even a bit more as I loved learning about the history of Hawaian quilts, people and their traditions... Very very interesting!
I finished quilting these 2, the brown one is a Lori Smith pattern. She was at the Chicago show, she is so nice! She has a new pattern out, I just love it as all of hers! I have to admit , I am collecting them for one day to make, who knows when...

Remember, I participated in an Easter swap. So while I was gone, a package arrived and guess what was inside?? Thank you so much to my wonderful swap sister Pat from Florida!!!!! The chocolates were delicious!
