Today, I received the keys of what is going to be our house! Nice feelings!
But no sewing... I am nearly done with my second block, I hope to finish it soon...
This Sunday, my dad's aquarium started leaking...so we have been busy putting the fishes in a bucket and emptying the water! Now he has to install a new one... A lot of work for those small things!

Today, we saw what might be my next car, a Chrysler van dark grey, nice! And it has an automatic gear box!!! Yeah! The only problem, we need an address first... We are waiting for an answer from the owner, we provided all the papers today so hopefully tomorrow...
I did a little sewing. I have in my suitcase a BOM from a Lori Smith pattern of wool applique. This is my first attempt and I am quite happy with the result. I am missing the first 2 blocks so I started with block #3... I am thinking of all my friends attending the Chicago quilt show, lucky you! I hope to hear from you soon! And to the others at Shipshewana, I'd like to know how was the exhibit with Rebecca...

Yesterday we went visiting 2 houses, my husband really liked one so he made an offer! They accepted so he now has to gather all the papers needed and so we will have a house soon! I hope it will be before the school restarts as it is 5 min from the school! It is also 5 min from the station which goes to St Lazard (down town Paris) in 10 min !
Since we arrived I haven't been able to find time for sewing but now that we have chosen the house, I will have more!
Today will be egg hunt with the kids... I hope the weather stays dry!

Well, I arrived this morning in Paris! So now I am 4140 miles from Chicago...
The flight went well, long as expected but I played with the kids on that game with the Professor Layton and solved some puzzles! I started also reading The lost quilter written by Jennifer Chiaverini, another good book again! When you start reading it, you have hard time putting it down!

Hi, it has been a really hard week and I am happy to see its end! The movers came and packed everything very well. Now, all our belongings are in a container...sad...
We gave back the keys of our house this morning and are staying at the hotel tonight and will be flying tomorrow. The weather is not very nice, cold, snow and wind are expected! Spring is not here yet...
I have been one last time at my BFF Sheri's house to sew my last siggies. They are now all signed and ready to be swapped!
Tomorrow I am going to organize and weight our luggage...
It is very very hard but it is what life has for me right now so...
Next time I will write, I will be on the other side of the ocean...
